The teddy bears are going to have a picnic in the Magic Garden under the shade of a magic tree, which is home to fairies and some adorable woodland creatures. The children in the audience agree to keep watch to keep it safe but a knotted handkerchief reminds Mr. Forget-me-not to cut down the tree so they can all stay longer in the sunshine. Luckily Auntie Mimi has a plan and, with the help of some woodland creatures and the children, they prevent a disaster to an invisible fairy world which only they can see.
This is an interactive, multi-sensory show with puppets and music, which is sure to delight the whole family, from babies to grandparents, but especially suited to children aged 2 to 6 years. The show lasts one hour and the children will be spellbound as the garden beautifully reveals its mystery.
In 2017 Boo to a Goose Theatre received Arts Council funding to tour this show across Devon libraries. As a result, the show was chosen as an example of the best Arts Council funded family activities in the UK #NationalLotteryDays: Ten Great Days Out.
