Directed by Sam Mendes

Duration: 210 minutes with 2 intervals

'An astonishing evening.....an acting masterclass'  Guardian

This smash-hit stage play will be broadcast live from London’s West End as part of National Theatre Live’s 10th Birthday season. The story of a family and a company that changed the world, told in three parts on a single evening. On a cold September morning in 1844 a young man from Bavaria stands on a New York dockside. Dreaming of a new life in the new world. He is joined by his two brothers and an American epic begins.

Dementia Friendly Cinemas have proven to be very therapeutic for people with memory problems and their families. Besides engaging the brain and stimulating emotions, being part of an audience enjoying a film helps people with dementia and their carers to feel less isolated and also challenges the stigma associated with the condition.

Whilst promoted as a dementia friendly screening, we hope anyone who loves the old films will come along for an afternoon of fond memories.

TRIP community transport can provide a lift to and from the film within Honiton. Please book a place with them on 01404 46529
