Since their first get together, to record the eponymous St Agnes Fountain album in 2001, the quartet; David Hughes, Fairport Convention's Chris Leslie and multi award winning duo Chris While and Julie Matthews, have brought musical invention and laughter to the star-dust atmosphere of the season.

In 2020, David decided to leave the band and very sadly passed away in 2023, he will be sorely missed...

Chris, Chris and Julie will be keeping the Christmas Aggie spirit alive and working as a trio celebrating 22 years together again this year.

Although their albums accompany the putting up of a thousand Christmas trees throughout Britain and around the globe as their reputation reaches further afield, it is, without question, their magical live performances that have endeared them to an ever-growing audience (tickets were again being sold for this year's tour as the curtain fell last year).

Christmas, as they say, starts with...... St Agnes Fountain... Fa la la la la la la la la!

Chris, Chris and Julie intend to do just that, keeping the Christmas Aggie spirit alive and touring as a trio celebrating 23 years together with some new material, those old Aggie classics and a doff of the fedora to David

Although the albums accompany the putting up of a thousand Christmas trees throughout Britain and around the globe as their reputation reaches further afield, it is, without question, their magical live performances that have endeared them to an ever-growing audience (tickets were again being sold for this year's tour as the curtain fell last year).

Seth was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize in 2005 for 'Kitty Jay'. Multiple albums, tours and high-profile collaborations later, the acclaimed folk artist released his latest studio album The Granite Way in February on his own label, Honour Oak Records. It’s a collection of songs recorded alongside a group of longtime collaborators of Seth’s, staying true to his roots and referring to ancient stories that inspired early West Country storytelling.

Seth Lakeman: ‘Each song feels strongly connected through history to the moors and the sea. I had written the stories and songs beforehand and had the melodic tunes ready for us all to explore when we recorded in the room, and the musical interplay between this lineup really displays their appetite for sounds and subjects within the folk tradition.’

In recent years Seth was asked to record on Van Morrison’s album ‘Moving On Skiffle’ and he collaborated with Public Service Broadcasting. Seth has also previously worked, and toured extensively, with Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin) with his band the Sensational Space Shifters.

Dementia Friendly Cinemas have proven to be very therapeutic for people with memory problems and their families. Besides engaging the brain and stimulating emotions, being part of an audience enjoying a film helps people with dementia and their carers to feel less isolated and also challenges the stigma associated with the condition.

All Nostalgic Cinema performances have subtitles to assist full enjoyment of the film by any members of the audience who are hard of hearing.

Whilst promoted as a dementia friendly screening, we hope anyone who loves the old films will come along for an afternoon of fond memories.

Running Time: 2 Hours 30 minutes (Including Interval)

Tickets: General Admission £25
All tickets include a £2 booking fee

DS:UK are BACK with one of their most popular tours - “Brothers in ’85”.

In 1985, Dire Straits were at the apex of their career as one of the biggest music brands and concert touring bands in the world. Still today, Mark Knopfler remains one of our most beloved guitarists in modern Rock.

Their biggest album, Brothers in Arms, still sits in the top 10 of the best selling albums in chart history.
“DSUK…in tribute to Dire Straits” began touring in 2016 and have quickly become regarded as *the* quintessential tribute band among Dire Straits fans with their incredible attention to musical and sonic detail, the humour, fun, and interesting history that they pack into their shows.

To say that “dS:uK” sound like Dire Straits is an understatement. And don’t take it from us - take it from our audience on the streets: “

…these guys are the epitome of a tribute band: they play and sound like you want to them to…” “…Thank you for a great evening in Worthing this week. Being a fan of Dire Straits for the last 50 years, you did not fail as a tribute band…

” Their 2025 “Brothers in 85” tour, once again, pays tribute to the worldwide Brothers in Arms tour, with the band bringing fans the ultimate 1985 Dire Straits experience and all of those legacy songs that you want to hear, including Sultans of Swing and Money for Nothing!

Here comes Johnny singing oldies goldies.... it’ll truly give you a shiver in the dark

You can follow the band on their social media here: Facebook. Instagram
