Scotland Yard Investigates (12A)

Scotland Yard Investigates
Scotland Yard Investigates
Running Time: 75 minutes (No interval)
Suitable for 12+ years

Ticket price: General Admission £14
All ticket prices include a £2 booking fee

From the files of Scotland Yard come these startling stage adaptations of infamous true-life nineteenth century crimes. During the course of this macabre performance, you'll encounter many nefarious individuals from late Victorian London, such as the infamous Whitechapel Murderer Henry Wainwright. He murdered his mistress in a particularly bloodthirsty manner, and hoped to escape justice. However, the dismembered corpse of Harriet Lane refused to stay hidden.

You will also meet the Lambeth Poisoner Dr Thomas Neill Cream, the sadistic serial killer and possibly the dreaded Jack the Ripper also. His murder spree on both sides of the Atlantic made his name a byword for horror.

Don’t Go Into The Cellar Theatre Company:

The company is now in its fifteenth year of touring. We are one of the UK's busiest and hardest-working small-scale theatre companies, and we are unique in that we specialise solely in original adaptations of classic Victorian and Edwardian popular fiction, and stageworks based on actual events from that era.

Glastonbury The Movie: 30th Anniversary Special (12A)

Glastonbury The Movie: 30th Anniversary Special
Glastonbury The Movie - The 30th Anniversary Cut.
Same Field. Another World
Running Time: 1 Hour 46 Minutes
Tickets. Adult £8. Under 16's £7. All tickets include a £1 booking fee
There is a Glastonbury that exists only in memory before the BBC arrived, before phone masts and wall-to-wall coverage, before tickets sold out in minutes, before it all changed.
A Glastonbury where dancing in a field was, quite sincerely, considered a radical act. That world is gone. But it was filmed.
Shot in Panavision CinemaScope at the 1993 festival, the last of the great old-school Glastonburys, Glastonbury The Movie captured the real thing: not the headline acts on the Pyramid Stage, but the stone circle at sunrise, the rave tents and wandering performers, the parachute games and the Krishna food queues. The Verve at their very first festival appearance. Spiritualized spending their entire fee on a fireworks display.
A cast of thousands, completely themselves. No voiceover. No talking heads. No presenter telling you how to feel. Just Glastonbury, as it was. Unfiltered, unnarrated, and unlike anything else in British music film. Hailed as “a masterpiece” by Mike Leigh and selected for eight international film festivals, Glastonbury The Movie: The 30th Anniversary Cut has been rebuilt in 4K from the original Panavision negatives, new scenes added, new Dolby 5.1 mix, every frame restored.
The result is extraordinary. Back on the big screen. Thirty years on.

Running Time: 2 Hours 30 Minutes (Including interval)
Tickets: Early Bird £17(Closes 29th May). General Admission £19. On the door £21. All tickets include a £2 booking fee.

Nothing Concrete is a six-piece international band based in the French Pyrenees, led by Scottish songwriter Fergus McKay.

Rooted in original songwriting, the band brings together a wide range of influences, blending blues, world music, jazz, cabaret, folk and swing into a sound that is both distinctive and hard to categorise. Their music is deeply danceable, often witty, and always alive with a sense of mischief and purpose. With sharp musicianship and a strong live presence, they create a genuinely immersive experience that's thoughtful and entertaining.

Their songs often carry a political edge, but never lose their sense of humour or playfulness. That balance of substance and style has helped define a band identity that feels eclectic yet coherent, adventurous yet accessible.

In 2025, they released their fourth album, The Imperfectionist, to widespread praise, with reviews calling it ?a masterpiece? and ?joyful, nostalgic, and just a little unpredictable.?
