The couple that tricks together, sticks together! Hudson & Hudson are on tour with their amazing magic. They said marriage was magical—these two took it literally. Married at First Sleight is the hilarious, feel good magic show from a real-life couple who mix marriage, magic and mind-reading. Think tricks, twists, and the occasional tiff as this dynamic duo saw through illusions (and maybe each other) in a night of jaw-dropping magic and side-splitting comedy.

Hudson & Hudson have appeared on TV’s shows all around the world including Britain’s Got Talent, Penn & Teller: Fool Us, The Next Great Magician and more.

It’s equal parts rivalry, revelations and razor-sharp tricks that’ll leave you wondering what’s real… including their arguments.

Perfect for date nights, mate nights, and anyone who’s ever argued over the remote. It’s like couples therapy… if therapy involved more magic tricks and less talking.

“You FOOLED us!” - Penn & Teller “Ace.

Brilliant. Authentic” - Amanda Holden

JAMES McNEILL WHISTLER

Key artwork: Whistler's Mother

Directed by David Bickerstaff

Running Time: 90 mins

Tickets: General Admission £13, under 16's £10. All tickets include a £1 booking fee

In an era of great change and great beauty emerged the character of James McNeill Whistler. Considered by some to be one of the great innovators of 19th century art, he was a contemporary of the Impressionists, much admired by Van Gogh and Manet. Boldly experimental and famously witty, Whistler disrupted the strict conventions of Victorian society in pursuit of a new cult of beauty, creating “art for art’s sake” and earning himself a place in the history of great art. He found a parallel between painting and music, and entitled many of his paintings "arrangements", "harmonies" and "nocturnes", emphasizing the importance of tonal harmony in his work. His most famous painting, Arrangement in Grey and Black No. 1 (1871), commonly known as Whistler's Mother, is a revered and often parodied portrait of motherhood. It is arguably one of the most famous paintings in history and this film will unveil the artist behind the art.

Tate Britain is now holding the first major retrospective of Whistler in three decades. This blockbuster exhibition promises to reawaken the world to just how important Whistler is to art history, uniting world-famous masterpieces with rarely seen works. Exhibition on Screen will bring these stunning works and the incredible story behind them to cinemas around the world while the exhibition is still running, bringing this truly global artist to a global audience. This will be an unmissable chance to get to know this visually spectacular artist and the influence he has had on those who followed.

Side quotes:

“An artist is not paid for his labour but for his vision.” - James McNeill Whistler

Running Time: 2 hours 45 Minutes (Including Interval)
Advanced Tickets £16. General Admission £20

The Adam Sweet Band deliver brooding blues and roots-rock, balancing expressive guitar work, soulful vocals and a powerful live dynamic rooted in authenticity and feel.

Led by guitarist and singer-songwriter Adam Sweet, the band has built a reputation as one of the tightest and most compelling live acts on the UK blues circuit. In 2023 they were crowned Introducing Stage Winners at The Great British Rock and Blues Festival, with this momentum continuing into nominations for UK Blues Emerging Act of the Year at the UK Blues Awards in 2025 & 2026.

Taking his cue from the British blues boom of the late ‘60s and early ‘70s, Adam Sweet has been carving out his own territory at the crossroads of classic rock, blues and Americana since first hitting the live scene in the South West of England at just 15. Having worked in various guises; solo acoustic performer, session player and band leader; he’s developed a consummate ability to shift effortlessly from sensitive singer-songwriter to full-throttle blues rocker.

The Adam Sweet Band features:

Garry Kroll - drums (Mark Ronson, Joss Stone, Sandi Thom, Elles Bailey, Andrea Bocelli)

Paddy Blight - bass (Hollow Souls, The Hoosiers, Andy Timmons, That Pedal Show)

Thomas Hughes - organ (Nektar, Eddie Floyd, Geno Washington, Danny Bryant, The Selecter)

Renowned for their deep groove, dynamic interplay and expressive musicianship, the band bring Sweet’s richly detailed songwriting to life on stage. Their performances have taken in venues and festivals across the UK including the 100 Club, Brudenell Social Club, Sidmouth & Rye International Jazz & Blues Festivals, and supports for artists such as Wishbone Ash, Kris Barras Band and Elles Bailey.

In 2024 they released Live at Crescent Records, recorded and filmed live in a single day. The accompanying video series has amassed over 100,000 views on YouTube, capturing the bands onstage chemistry in its rawest form.

With a new studio album due in 2026, the Adam Sweet Band continue to establish themselves as a formidable force on the contemporary blues-rock scene.
