Charity Burns Night Whisky Tasting (18)

Charity Burns Night Whisky Tasting
Burns Night Whisky Tasting
Running time: 2 hours
Tickets: £30

Looking for a Christmas present with a difference?

Give them an evening to remember! Our Burns Night Whisky Tasting with Devon Drams makes the perfect gift for the whisky lover - or anyone who enjoys great drinks and a lively evening out. Expect an evening that is knowledgeable without being reverent: a properly structured flight, plenty of context, and a room that talks to itself by the second pour. Whether you know your Speyside from your Islay or you've never tasted a single malt in your life, you'll be looked after.

For £30 per person, they'll enjoy a welcome cocktail, 5 whisky drams, a Limited Edition surprise, delicious nibbles and live music, all wrapped up in a relaxed and entertaining tasting experience.

Whether they're a seasoned whisky enthusiast or just curious to discover something new, it's a gift that's far more memorable than something that ends up on a shelf.

The perfect Christmas gift - give them an experience they'll be talking about long after the last dram!

About Devon Drams
Devon Drams was founded by Johann Malawana on a simple conviction: whisky is at its best when it's shared. What draws him to it isn't collecting or scoring - it's what happens around the table when a good dram is poured and people start talking. Every Devon Drams event is built around that idea, pairing carefully chosen whiskies with the stories, history and science behind them.
Johann's standing in the whisky world is serious. He chairs the Whisky Interest Group at the Athenaeum, the Pall Mall club founded in 1824 for distinction in science, literature and the arts, and leads the Whisky Circle at the National Liberal Club on Whitehall. He is a member of the Worshipful Company of Distillers, one of the ancient Livery Companies of the City of London, granted its Royal Charter in 1638, and a Cadet of the London Squadron of the Company of Musketeers of Armagnac, the confraternity devoted to the great spirit of Gascony.

Puccini’s exhilarating drama of the Wild West returns in a new staging by Richard Jones, marking the company’s first new production of La Fanciulla del West in more than 30 years. Soprano Vida Mikneviciute makes her Met company debut singing the role of Minnie, the tough tavern owner with a heart of gold who finds love when she least expects it. Tenor SeokJong Baek is the dashing bandit who rambles into the remote California mining town to steal her heart, opposite baritone Christopher Maltman as the lawman determined to deliver justice—and win Minnie for himself. Maestro Keri-Lynn Wilson takes the podium to conduct one of opera’s most action-packed adventures, live from the Met stage to cinemas worldwide.
