John Hackett Band and Heather Findlay

John Hackett Band and Heather Findlay
The John Hackett Band and Heather Findlay
Running time: 2 hours 10 minutes, including an interval.
Tickets: General Admission £18. All tickets include a £2 booking fee.

The John Hackett Band embodies the spirit of progressive rock. From John’s pastoral flute textures, through the funky interplay between drummer Duncan Parsons and bassist Jeremy Richardson to the intricacies of Nick Fletcher’s lead guitar the group embrace pop, rock, jazz, classical, funk and all stops in-between, from the tenderest of ballads to hair-raising instrumental workouts!

Known for her magical, evocative voice and an ability to interpret and inhabit a range of styles with a mix of power and feeling, Heather Findlay is one of the finest vocalists working in music today. Prog magazine lauded her, “Deliciously sultry vocals”, whilst Maverick magazine hailed her, “Pure, crystalline voice. She grabs your heart in an almost vice-like grip”.

“This isn't just music. It is a wonderful gift to the world. Heather Findlay’s "Wildflower", is just what we need right now. Burt Bacharach’s song and Jackie DeShannon singing it; brought to life in an entire album. This album needs to be heard by everyone feeling the tragedy of war, or any other tribulation you can imagine.

Mark Preiss, Prog Rock Central (USA)

“If you enjoy acoustic music with wonderful female vocals and lyrics with meaning, then this is simply essential.”.

~Kev Rowland, Prog Archives (NZ)

But freedom is not promised for Odette as Von Rothbart conspires to thwart the lovers plans.

BLONDISH are the ultimate tribute to Blondie — a fierce, high-energy 5-piece band delivering the raw sound, attitude and edge of Blondie at their absolute peak. REVIEWS

If you’re I die hard Blondie fan from way back in the day then these guys will blow you away.

Well, what can I say, went to the theatre in Warwick this evening to see this Band perform, they didn't disappoint, ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT

Great band. If you like Blondie, you must see this band. The singer looks and sounds like Debbie Harry; her voice is spot on. Had a fantastic night, great atmosphere and lots of dancing.

Wow, the best Blondie tribute act around! We had a fantastic night, vocals on point, amazing band and the visuals were great too. Really good song choices across Blondie's career.
